Why choose Illustrator for creating Websites?

Illustrator is yet to be the number one choice for web design. Those who have tried it out though, find it a good tool, that allows you to make quicker, neater, and flexible websites. There are quite a few tips and tricks that will Illustrator can perform to help your designing process.

1.) It's FAST- you can quickly design with symbols, saving the ones you have already made, using the symbols panel, and also you can modify and format your text and paragraph, as quick as dragging what you need in or changing some numbers! OR use the useful tools , like the eyedropper for text styles

2.) Formatting- Illustrator allows you to quickly change texture,shape, and size, keeping your design simple and appealing. Square to round. Red to gold, while having all your screens up at one time! You are not LIMITED on illustrator, and can apply many outlines, such as "drop shadow". Also helpful is the tools and effects, of bitmaps, style filters, patterns...etc. 

3.) Gradients- make the exact gradient settings you want! This tool is easily manipulated, allowing precise adjustments, as simple as dragging the colors to the correct location and defining the colors and grid. On top of that you can make clean strokes and set the perfect colors.

Illustrator allows for a customized software for your website designs, keeping your favorite tools close to you.


How to Set up a website in Illustrator? Follow these steps or watch the video @ Setting up illustrator to create web layouts....

1. Open up illustrator
2. RGB mode
3.hide the page tiling and art board (gets rid of the lines)
4.New layer for layout work
and upload a screenshot of a web browser at800*600 that you have deleted the center area out and lock it in the new layer..... now you have a boundary
5. illustrator-.Preference-unit-set all to pixels
General-keyboard increments- .5pixels
choose okay
6.view-pixel preview mode (automatic enable snap to pixels)
